In 1983, the former Ben W. Turick Company of Milwaukee, WI. was purchased by Lester & Robert Cohen. It's name was changed to American Wiper & Supply Company. Over the next 5 years the company acquired 3 other wiping cloth companies and combined them under a 105,000 SF warehouse and production facility.

During that same time, management felt that a natural growth progression would be in the paper and non-woven wiping material converting industry. In 1984, Four Star Converting Corporation was formed to provide customers with high quality, competitively priced paper and non-woven wipers. We have grown from 2 machines to over 12 to produce a full line of over 350 different products.
